NC Star Scope Rings

We offer a full line of Scope Rings in one inch and 30mm diameters. Black and Silver finishes as well as steel and aluminum rings are available. Many rings have a one inch insert that allows you to mount either a one inch diameter scope or a 30mm diameter scope with the insert removed. Various ring heights are available for each of the models. Note that the RB11/2 and the RB18/2 rings have one movable ring to mount those "hard to mount" scopes where the rings hit the towers or the you need more or less eye relief to fit your shooting stance. Don't forget to take into account the added front belle diameter with scope caps in place when choosing your ring height.

O = Total Ring Height from receiver to top of rings

H = Distance from receiver to center of ring

Rings with one inch inserts can be used with one inch tube scopes using the inserts or inserts can be removed and rings will now fit 30mm scope tubes.

The Ring Selection Chart is only approximate. It is designed for tapered sporting barrels, not bull barrels. Add some height for bull barrels. You may want to measure the front belle with the scope caps in place to make sure your scope and caps clear the barrel.

RB11/2

	Weight:2.70 oz. O:2.00" H:1.20" Technical Note about the RB11/2 Weaver and Picatinny rails have cross slots milled onto them. The RB11/2 has only one ring with a recoil stud, this helps with mounting scopes onto the rail, especially with compact scopes where you don’t have much room on the scope body to mount the rings and align the rings to the slots on the rails. Having rings with both recoil studs may limit where they can mount the scope on their rail, which may affect the user on getting the proper eye relief. Usually only an issue with compact scopes. Full size scopes usually give you much latitude as to where you can mount the rings to the scope body and still get a proper eye relief and to be able to mount the scope to the rails. So the full size scopes usually won’t have an issue with the RB11. This is the cure for getting more or less eye relief with certain scope mounting applications. You can mount the scope without the rings hitting the scope towers.

The Ruger rings are all sold individually. Some Ruger long guns have staggered mounts, where you need a low and a high set of rings to mount the scope parallel with the bore of the barrel. Yet there are Ruger rifles with ring mounts on the same level, so they need a pair of the same Ruger type rings to mount the scope parallel with the bore of the barrel
