T/C Contender and G2 Barrels
Thompson Center's Contender and G2 Barrels are button rifled for ultimate
precision and drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting with common bases and
rings. Contender G2 barrels are an example of superb quality and craftsmanship.
Thompson Center Contender barrels offer the shooter superb accuracy and a great
selection of calibers and barrel lengths.
The Original Contender and the NEW G2 Contender use the same barrels.
However, the stocks, forends, and grips are different and do not interchange.
The original model contender barrels have a single screw forearm...and the
G2 model barrels have a double screw forearm setup.
Note: No frames, no complete pistols, just barrels

T/C G2 Contender Rifle Barrels
| The G2 Contender rifle is a compact rifle boasting
the same versatility and accuracy found with the G2 Contender
pistol.
It features readily interchangeable 23" barrels, enabling the
shooter to select from 5 different cartridge options; from 17 HMR
and 22 LR Match, up to 30/30 Win or 45/70 Gov't.; even a 45 cal
muzzleloading barrel. In addition, all of the 16¼" and 21" barrels
made for the old style Contender will readily fit the new G2 frame.
The high comb on the buttstock allows the shooter's eye to be in
perfect alignment when using a scope. TJ General Store does not sell
the complete gun, just the barrels and accessories.

interchangeable with Contender pistol barrels.
