Amega Ranges Mini-Scout-Mount

For the Ruger Mini-14, M1-Garand, and M14/M1A

Provides up to three Picatinny/Weaver rails on the top hand guard for mounting tactical lighting and sighting equipment. Replaces the top hand guard. No alterations to the gun required for installation. All tools included. Made from aircraft aluminum, not plastic that will melt upon sustained firing. One full length rail included on the top of the main rail with two Tactical Light Mounting Kits for mounting on the side of the main rail included. Over 80% of all law enforcement involved shootings occur during the hours of diminished natural light. If you are fortunate enough to have a Mini-14™ available to you as a patrol carbine, how do you hold a flashlight and your Mini-14™ at the same time? Have you ever trained to shoot the Mini-14 while holding a flashlight? Have you ever wished you had better sights on your Mini-14?

While highly reliable and affordable as a patrol carbine, the Mini-14™ has always been handicapped by a design that does not allow mounting a modern combat sight system or a tactical flashlight.....Until now.

If you carry a Mini-14™ for a patrol carbine, the Mini-Scout-Mount™ combined with the Tactical Light Kit is your BEST solution for employing a tactical flashlight, and provides you with the MOST sighting system options available.

Features:

	No permanent modifications required- The bolt-on design replaces the hand guard and upper gas block using the two Allen wrenches provided. No drilling, cutting, machining or other modification to the rifle is required. Just field strip your Mini-14™ and follow the simple installation instructions.
	Fits the Ruger® Mini-14™ or Mini-14 Ranch Rifle™- This is a bolt-on unit that fits either version of the .223 cal. Rifle (Note: It will NOT fit the Mini-30™ although this model may be offered in the future).
	Precision machined and extruded aircraft-grade aluminum- This was the best material available to meet our stringent design criteria. It provides a balance of strength and rigidity at a moderate weight (less than 10 ounces).
	Full-length sight base- Accepts Weaver™ style or Picatinny rings and runs the entire length of the top of the mount.
	Flat non-reflective, hard anodized finish- The dull, matte finish reduces shine and glare while hard anodizing provides protection from corrosion and wear.
	Accepts modern tactical sight systems (ACOG, CQB, Holosights, etc.), Pistol or Scout scopes- More sighting options than ever before along the full length base.
	Does not interfere with OEM sights- The ample sighting groove on the top of the base allows a clear field of view for use of open sights when scopes or other sighting devices are not attached.
	Improved accuracy with every load tested- The rigid construction and unique design create several points of contact with the barrel that produce a stiffening effect, reducing barrel vibration and “whip” resulting in a noticeable reduction of group size with every load of .223 ammunition tested so far.

Mini-Scout-Mount™ for M1A/M14

This rifle was the inspiration for the Ruger® Mini-14 & 30™. It can now be quickly and easily upgraded with the latest sight system technology (Aimpoint®, Holosights, red-dots, etc.) or fitted with pistol or scout type scopes. Just remove the trigger assembly, stock, and hand guard, then follow the simple instructions. It also accepts the Tactical Light Mount Kit for quick and reliable attachment of most tactical flashlights (Streamlight M3 and M6, etc.) and other lighting/sighting accessories.
This model fits ONLY US Mil-spec barrels, including the 16-inch SOCOM type (without scout mount). NO heavy barrels, or Chinese manufactured barrels will fit.
